'I DO'

April 10, 2017

Meanwhile I had plans of my own. Plans that I had cultivated for a couple of years and for a brief moment I feared that they would go awry. It was not the end of the world as predicted, but it did cause me some concern when the banks were charging an impossibly high rate of interest on loans and consequently buildings were put on hold. Lateral thinking is not something that is exercised widely, but for me it always meant that if one door closes then invariably another door opens - and so it was.

When I decided to sell my home I had a purpose. It was to relocate to another side of town, but ‘the best laid plans of mice and men …….  What actually happened was unforeseen and surprising but the end result couldn’t have been better. I did relocate to another side of town but a year later than expected and then not on my own.

What followed was the addition of ‘DO’ to my name. This little word is so symbolic and so appropriate for many occasions and  situations that I encountered throughout my life that I had to give it the prominence it deserves.

So I made it the title of my new book!   -  I “DO” -  www.lidiakardos.com  -  All in the space of twelve months.
